Research into Ageing supports high-quality basic, clinical and epidemiological research into all aspects of ageing, including the basic science of cellular ageing and the most common health problems affecting older people, including neurodegeneration, cognitive decline, bone and joint conditions, sensory loss, wound healing, muscle wasting and stroke. Applications for cancer research will not normally be considered. We presently have a special initiative to promote research into incontinence. All biomedical research is funded in response mode.
