Research into Ageing supports high-quality research that will clearly improve the quality of life of older people. Our funding strategy and selection process are designed to ensure that the money we raise has the greatest possible impact on the ageing research field and for older people.
We provide PhD studentships and research fellowships in order to encourage talented researchers into the field of ageing research, provide grants to support shorter or longer pieces of research, and provide a special initiative focusing on incontinence research.
Grants are allocated to researchers with a proven track record and the work must be carried out in an established UK research institution. Grantholders must adhere to our current Terms and Conditions (pdf).
