man on space hopperHelp the Aged has produced notable research evidence through its funding over the last several years, on which it has campaigned and built its policy positions. We pride ourselves on the quality of the research that we fund and this is especially true of our biomedical research, carried out through Research into Ageing.

We have published many influential reports based on our research expenditure and have supported many eminent academics, such as Professor Tom Kirkwood, Dr John Hardy, Professor Nancy Rothwell and others who have themselves published their work in leading academic journals.

Some of our more important research outcomes are presented here as examples of our commitment to high-quality research which will have an impact on the quality of life of older people.
