We spend £2 million per year on a wide range of research issues from social science, social policy and economics to biomedical science. All our research is intended to provide findings which will improve the quality of life of older people, whether through helping to alleviate the problems of older age or by providing a better understanding of age-related conditions, such as incontinence, osteoarthritis or dementia.
